In August 2025, I merged my coaching practice into my studio because coaching and teaching share similarities, yet they are also very different. - I help artists, coaches and solopreneurs with business structure coaching, financial management of private studios, website auditing, etc. Pretty much everything pertaining to launching your career as an entrepreneur, including guidance in the accounting, tax and legal aspects. My first career was spent in Legal Administration & Accounting and I have 30 years experience in this realm. I can help coach you through the business side of things and if you need actual accounting or tax help with your business, I can do that too. - I help adult learners navigate the process of going back to school after a long hiatus because let’s face it, there’s no app for that and if you went to school for the first time 10, 20 or 30+ years ago, returning to school for a career change or graduate degree can be tough to navigate. Especially, if doubt or fear are present in this desire for change. I can help you build a roadmap and navigate the process from “I think I want to do this!” to “OMG! I’m on campus for the first time in years.” I went back to school from age 47-53 and earned a BA and an MM as my career pivot back to music. I understand the process and can coach you through it! - I help people find their identity and what matters to them most after a major change in life. This is called Transitions Coaching. I am passionate about this kind of coaching because it is so close to home. My dad passed away in 2016. My mom passed away in 2020. I am childless person and the experience of losing my mom as a childless person, profoundly changed me forever because it not only made me come face to face with my own mortality but also the very real lack of legacy. My current family is very small and gone are the days of big family gatherings that I knew as a child. Since my mom’s passing, old family traditions didn’t make sense or resonate with me anymore and for the past 5 years, my husband and I have tried something new each year at the holidays. We have found people we connect with and have what we call “Found Family” made up of other people, who like us, have an empty nest and no generation before us.
